A wide-angle view which includes both of the Magellanic Clouds. The Large (LMC, on the right) and Small (SMC, to the left) Magellanic Clouds are irregular galaxies which are satellites to our own Milky Way Galaxy. The Magellanic Clouds are visible to the naked eye from the southern hemisphere.
